.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 130 PM, a 1013 mb high was over the Payette National Forest in
Idaho and a 999 mb low was centered over Lake Tahoe. Strong
southwest winds gusting to 30 knots and seas 8-11 feet will
continue through the late evening, producing hazardous conditions
for small craft. Winds will shift to northwesterly in the late
afternoon and weaken overnight into early Friday. Seas diminish
Friday morning. Otherwise, modest northwesterly afternoon breezes
through Monday.
